Take your prescribed medicines on time!
To create an app that facilitates or helps form a new habit.
TASK
INSIGHT
People tend to miss out on their pills because they are busy, get confused, or don’t have the time while rushing for work, etc.
SOLUTION
Medications need to fit within our daily schedules. Digipill is a habit-forming app ideated and created over eight weeks that helps people take their medication on time. The inspiration came from my grandfather, who lives alone and forgets to take his medicines on time.

The pill system was created to simplify medication as well as help the user identify what they need to take. During my initial research I found out that pill shapes vary according to their dosage and weight so I kept that in my mind while making the illustrations.
I tried to use as few words as possible to avoid any confusion, as that is the last thing one needs while taking medicine. Green is the colour that shows you are on track with your medications, yellow means you are late but can still take the pill, and red means you should skip the dose. The coloured outlines indicate what medicine you have taken, and the dots represent the doses for the day. The button sizes are easy to click for older people who may have difficulty using a smartphone.
User systems were created utilising visual language. The pills were initially meant to be visual cues through their expression, but this app may be used by elders who could misinterpret it. I added colours that are universally recognised like the red, green and yellow from traffic light systems.
